Indie Cartooning (Ages 8-13)

In this camp we celebrate the art of cartooning. Armed with pencil, pen, brush, marker, paint and scratchboard, explore this traditional/contemporary art form and tap into your inner storyteller as you create cartoons, imagery and narrative in a variety of genres. We'll also explore the future of cartooning with some iPad fun. Working under the guidance of a professional cartoonist, projects may include creating storyboards, animation flip books, trading cards, and collaborative comic book anthologies, as you learn the art of drawing, storyboarding and character development.

Two week sessions (Ages 8-10):

Session 1: July 2 to July 12 (no camp July 1)
Session 3: July 29 - August 9-(no camp August 5)
